Description

One of IELPO's most distinctive features lies in the comprehensiveness of its treatment of the forces -legal, economic and institutional- shaping the growing worldwide trend towards regional economic integration and the concomitant governance structures such a process entails. This module will provide students with a law and economics understanding of the recent proliferation of preferential trade and investment agreements and offer them the choice (2 of 3 sub-modules, equivalent to 40 hours of lectures) of sub-modules devoted to the study of regional trends in Asia, the EU (including its agreements with international partners) as well as in the Americas.
